Cwmdu

This not a beginners race.  Experience is required.  Full kit must be worn or carried - a strict kit inspection will be carried out.

Race Route

Starts on the lane right by the Village Hall. Up the lane a short way and then left on a path behind a gate. The steep path takes you to the ridge of Pen Tir. Continue on to the crest, past a cairn at the col (CP1), and then west up to Mynydd Llangorse (CP2). Head north and down to cross.the road. A steep pull to Mynydd Troed summit (CP3), and then south east down it's ridge. Find your best way off the end and then down through fields via farm gates (CP4) to the road. Left then quickly right, through the double farm gates and up to a road junction. Right then, through the farm gate, left and left again leads to the pull back up to the cairn you passed on the way out (CP5) The descent down PenTir follows - retrace your steps back to the village hall.
